At 14, Jackson was cut from a rep rugby team—a crushing setback. Instead of giving up, he worked harder, earning a spot on the U17 Canadian Rugby Team three years later. That experience taught him failure isn’t the end—it’s a stepping stone.

Determined to go further, he moved from Canada to Australia to chase his dream of playing professional rugby. But with that leap came overwhelming pressure—not just to succeed, but to prove he belonged. Fear of failure crept in, and as his passion for rugby faded, he pushed himself even harder in training. Then, a back injury in the gym left him unable to walk for months and sidelined him for three years.
